Strigi adds homedir to preferences on reboot

Bug Description

When I remove my homedir in Strigi preferences, it is automatically added the next time i reboot. This is annoying, as I have huge downloaded files (eg. Kubuntu iso's) below my homedir.

Side note: as I write this, the Strigi daemon will not stop when I try from the GUI/status page.

yes it's irritating, you have to alter the config file by hand, before it will really exclude your homedir

Naresh V: this is propably the wrong place for this discussion, but your link only gives me the information I have attached as an image. And it doesn't help me to understand the term idem - sadly I don't speak Italian :-)

I've had this consistently on multiple computers running Kubuntu Gutsy and Hardy.

This bug seems to be fixed in Intrepid. It still won't index, but thats for another bug report. For the moment the folders are staying correct in the config though.
