Bug Description

I am using Ubuntu Gutsy (up-to-date packages) as a guest inside a VMware Workstation 6 virtual machine on a Windows Vista 64 host.

Multiple times per day, the guest freezes and I have to reboot the virtual machine. I did not have this problem with Ubuntu Feisty in the same environment.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

I am not experiencing this issue with Hardy Heron.
