Bug Description

When I tried to build Android source code, I need to execute the command line below.

And I always get the log that shows I didn't set up open-vm-tools sucessfully.

What should I do?

I am using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

francis@Francis:~/android5.1.51$ sudo apt-get install bison g++-multilib git gperf libxml2-utils make python-networkx zlib1g-dev:i386 zip

Some Added.
I am using VMware Workstation 11.0.0 build-2305329 on Windows 7 as a host.
And Ubuntu is opened as a client in VMware Workstation.

I wonder whether the VMware Tools that is accompanied by VMware Workstation has something with this open-vm-tools issue.

Any help would be appreciated.
