Bug Description
LUKS boot for encrypted root systems was broken starting with the 3.19.0-49 kernel and all subsequent 3.19 kernels due to an incompatibility between upstream kernel patches not being fully applied and the current vivid cryptsetup version (2:1.6.
This is a documented kernel bug, but Ubuntu has not picked up patches.
Current workaround is booting off last working kernel (3.19.0-
