Bug Description

LUKS boot for encrypted root systems was broken starting with the 3.19.0-49 kernel and all subsequent 3.19 kernels due to an incompatibility between upstream kernel patches not being fully applied and the current vivid cryptsetup version (2:1.6.7-0vanir1~15.04).

This is a documented kernel bug, but Ubuntu has not picked up patches.

Current workaround is booting off last working kernel (3.19.0-47-generic). I cannot upgrade to 16 until fix is confirmed as it will force de-install of last current working kernel.
