package python-gammu-dbg 0.22-3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

I can confirm here on AMD64. Will look into it shortly, thanks for the report!

I think I have the same problem. When I tried upgrading Xubuntu from Fiesty to Gutsy the process failed. When I tried to run dpkg the following happened:

python-gammu (0.25-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * Avoid conflicting files in normal and dbg package.
  * Fix section in doc-base file.
