Bug Description

Hello!

I would like to request sponsorship for a new version of the unity-greeter-badges package, primarily for fixing #1562182.

I've attached a debdiff. Note that a new binary file, custom_budge-desktop_badge.png, is also required. I will attach it to a comment below.

thanks, why did you open a new bug rather than comment on the already existing one/attach the patch/subscribe sponsors to it?

My apologies if this isn't the usual workflow. I was mirroring the usual process in Debian, where one files a separate RFS bug to request sponsorship.
