Installing gutsy with UTC time ON crashes the OS in the first 5 minutes of use

Bug Description

On my Dell Laptop Inspiron 7500 :

I successfully install and run Gutsy without any trouble when installed with UTC time option set to NO

I run into serious system crash in the first 5 minutes of use (no mouse no activity at all) when I install the same computer with UTC time set to YES

I am using the Gutsy Desktop I386 Alternate CD-ROM

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
