Since Kubuntu does not support sites with which I earn money, I am forced to use winxp.
I am not interested in security (since I visit only stock sites and I dont share any programmes/
My 1st concern is functionality support which is important to people like me.

Did you install the package sun-java6-plugin or better kubuntu- restricted- extras? You need to enable the restricted repositories (and multiverse) for this. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report and subsequently we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https:/ /answers. launchpad. net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see https:/ /help.ubuntu. com/community/ ReportingBugs .
I can run the urls below with Kubuntu and Firefox without any problems.
