Bug Description

I 'm using Gutsy on a Thinkpad T60 and apparently if I'm idle certain amount of time bright will go down to save battery, that's nice. It would be even better that when i get to work again, Ubuntu could remember which level of brightness i was using.

I guess this is trying to emulate MAC OS X behavior, but it is not achiving the goal as after idle time it dosent get back to a usable brightness.

Changed in network-manager-applet:
status: New → Invalid

I am using the last ubuntu now and it dosent seem to behave the same way. It dosent change the brightness at all after idle time but in the other hand i can not achieve maximum brightness while on battery.
