Ubuntu Device Database Collection does not proceed past soundcard.

Bug Description

Binary package hint: hwdb-client

hwdb-gui starts fine, the sound card works, but the wizard does not proceed past soundcard testing properly.
After the audio test the Video dialog comes up but the verbage is, "Testing detected soundcard: ICH5 Did you hear the test sound?" The forward gui button is grayed out and Cancel is the only active option.

When hwdb-gui is run from xterm the following output is seen:
  File "/usr/bin/hwdb-gui", line 153, in <lambda>
    self.advance.connect("clicked", lambda w: self.adv(self.xmlfile))

    set[2] = set[2]+self.get_xorgdata()
  File "/usr/bin/hwdb-gui", line 256, in get_xorgdata
    return retval
UnboundLocalError: local variable 'retval' referenced before assignment

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This particular bug has already been reported and is a duplicate of bug 17595, so it is being marked as such. Please look at the other bug report to see if there is any missing information that you can provide, or to see if there is a workaround for the bug. Additionally any further discussion regarding the bug should occur in the other report. Feel free to continue to report any other bugs you may find.
