Bug Description

Binary package hint: sysstat

i use dapper on my server and analyse the information with ksar.

every month it stops working and i have to delete all the files in /var/log/sysstat

the reason is that the files start with the wrong 1st line...

middle of september i last deleted all files. now the file sa01 from oct. 1 1st line reads

Linux 2.6.9-023stab044.4-smp (mail.sustainabilitysolutions.ca) 10/01/2007

but 1st line from 20 october reads:

Linux 2.6.9-023stab044.4-smp (mail.sustainabilitysolutions.ca) 09/20/2007

despite the fact that the file was created 10/20/2007...

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
