Bug Description

I am running Ubuntu 7.10 on Power G5. The built-in sound works ok as long as there is one app using it. If I run, say, totem and rhythmbox at the same time, the system freezes. Actually, the UI is frozen - I can ssh to the box and reboot it.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
