Too large bootsplash resolution

Bug Description

I think bootsplash has a resolution of 1280x1024 or higher, this exceeds limit resolution of panoramic screens which has a maximun of 1440x900.
A lower resolution will be necessary in order to bootsplash can be displayed right in all monitors.
