Bug Description

lockd is going defunct after an undetermined period of time in gutsy server. Please advise as to troubleshooting next steps.

nfs lockd randomly going defunct while gutsy clients are using gutsy server. Seems to be a server-side problem, because my gutsy clients had no problem with old Suse-NFS-Server for weeks.
