gtk-gnutella freeze gutsy

Bug Description

after that gtk-gnutella starts the system slowly became freeze, and after few seconds all windows become unresponsive.

I don't receive any error message or other messages.

Investigating more I related the problem with an high number of external connection, if this number exceeds 50 or more, the threshold is not very clear,the kernel begin to show some problems. Few time I experienced a kernel panic.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release, Hardy Heron? Thanks in advance.

This shouldn't be reported against gtk-gnutella but the kernel.

I'm sorry to didn't check this bug-report anymore. As Hew thought after the upgrade to hardy heron the problem was disappeared.
