Mozilla Firefox textfield and buttons dont look good

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

The input field, text area, and buttons does not look good in Mozilla Firefox on Linux.

I use GNOME 2.20 and Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.8 on Gutsy Gibbon.

In Windows XP they look better.

Thanks for you report. Try a nightly of Firefox 3, the widgets are no more as horrible as in firefox 2.0, they are native to the OS (look at the screenshot).

We should close this thread as invalid.

Hi,

thanks for your bug report. Your issue is fixed in firefox-3.0 which is available as a preview package in gutsy and will be become the default in hardy.
