Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Background: I've got a 1-line, 4-column panel setup, running compiz, on Gutsy.

How to reproduce:
- Open a new window.
- Move the window so that part of it is outside the right edge of the desktop.
- right-click the window handle or panel object (still in workspace 1), and click "Move to Workspace Right".

Now, the window is moved one workspace right, but the panel object (that is, the thing at the bottom of the screen) is moved /two/ panels to the right.

I'll test this without compiz later.

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the actively developed release. You can find out more about the development release at [WWW] http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/
