It seems to be an upstream bug because the same behavior is for Debian Etch. Though I can't find where to report upstream bugs for this program.

I can verify this in gutsy.

1) run "sudo aptitude safe-upgrade"
2) press the question mark to get more info
3) aptitude segfaults

upstream bugs can be reported to the bug tracker that the project has chosen. In case of debian, this bug tracker can be reached at http://bugs.debian.org. bug submissions have to be via email. Be aware that the debian bug tracker has *no* spam protection and is regularly harvested, use an account with good spam protection.
