Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

When putting in an empty CD-R it is shown as CD-ROM-Medium on the desktop and burning is not possible; however burning with wodim from the command line works fine.

Output from lshal and list_cddrives with empty medium inserted is attached.

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Karmic Koala. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu.
