Bug Description

Nautilus crashes when I try to reach my $HOME folder. Also, my desktop doesn't work at all a couple of minutes after boot-up. This is the only line that repeats itself in nautilus.debug.log.txt

May you try to install the libcairo debugging packages and get a new trace?, thanks.

The only debugging packages related to libcairo that I can find in the repositories are libclutter-cairo-0.4-dbg and python-cairo-dbg. Should I install one of these?

did you read the debugging wiki pages and added the dbgsym source as described?

I did read the wiki, I just can't find any libcairo debugging symbols in the repositories.

In https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash just in the first point it said that you need to add the following repositories:

deb http://people.ubuntu.com/~ubuntu-archive/ddebs gutsy main universe
deb http://people.ubuntu.com/~ubuntu-archive/ddebs gutsy-updates main universe
deb http://people.ubuntu.com/~ubuntu-archive/ddebs gutsy-proposed main universe
deb http://people.ubuntu.com/~ubuntu-archive/ddebs gutsy-security main universe

Then run apt-get update and install the packages we asked for, thanks.
