Not able to create A record for the Origin domain via designate dashboard.

Bug Description

Hi, All.

I successfully installed openstack designate and done all the initial configurations. And I am able to create domains, subdomains through command line. I pulled designate dashboard from git and I can access designate from the dashboard. But I am not able to create A record for origin domain through the dashboard.

For example,

Domain: example.com
Subdomain: www.example.com,net.example.com

For this example.com I cannot add A record through the dashboard. I tried same for subdomains, www.example.com and it works. So how can I set A record for Orgin domain example.com.

I have successfully added A record for example.com from CLI mode. But, not from the dashboard.

The review for this bug should support a few new types. Just leave the main name field empty and fill out a needed otherwise.

    Add option for records pointing to domain

    This change makes it so users can create records that
    points to their domain, including A / AAAA / TXT
