Bug Description

Gutsy install in VMware Fusion for Mac OS X (reproducible in VMware Server for Windows, not tried in VMware products for Linux)

X crashes when more than one GL program is opened.

To reproduce, at a VT:

sudo invoke-rc.d gdm stop
X >xerr &
export DISPLAY=:0
glxgears & glxgears

==> server crash. xerr appended.

Thanks for reporting this bug to help make Ubuntu better, unfortunately there's not enough information to troubleshoot it. You mention that this bug results in an Xorg crash; does this crash still occur on Hardy? If so, could you please collect a full backtrace (see http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Backtracing for directions).

Please attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log, as this contains a wealth of necessary information for troubleshooting X problems (sometimes it also includes relevant error messages).

Problem does not occur on hardy.
