Bug Description

If the PTR for an address resolves to the FQDN, then the FQDN should include that IP. Currently, since the code that generates the data for reverse zones (get_hostname_ip_mapping) only considers IPs on the subnet in question, it will choose "the best IP on the subnet" for the FQDN, rather than "the best IP for the node".
