Bug Description

Hi,

When I copy a symbolic link from a local file to an sftp remote folder I get an assertion error:

$ gnomevfs-copy link sftp://*@*/*
You must log in to access *@*
Password:

(process:12708): gnome-vfs-modules-CRITICAL **: do_check_same_fs: assertion `b_host_name != NULL' failed
Failed to copy link to sftp://<email address hidden>/home/shacharu/
Reason: Not on the same file system

Regards,
Haggai Eran

Oops...
I meant to replace all the links with asterisks, but I missed some of them...

I just checked to see if this bug is still relevant, and I see the same thing happens on Intrepid too.
