Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22

Hi! After some investigations we have found bug with compilation of linux-source-2.6.22 witch enhanced hibernation (tux on ice), see description bellow:

It looks to me like Gutsy is broken without TuxOnIce in the case where
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_INITRD is not 'y'. That function is only defined in
init/initramfs.o, which is only compiled in ifneq ($(CONFIG_BLK_DEV_INITRD),y),
but the prototype in init/main.c checks CONFIG_ACPI instead. I would suggest
reporting this to the Ubuntu guys and (as a workaround) setting
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_INITRD to y.

THX!

Milan
