Webcam no more recognized

Bug Description

Binary package hint: hal

I have this generic webcam. it's used to work very well in Feisty Faw, after the upgrade to Gutsy Gibbon, the webcam isn't recognized.
I don't change the cpu just upgrade the Ubuntu.
The same thing happens in other two CPUs.
I have tested in both distribuitions amd64 and i386.

the web cam is a Genius/Kye VideoCamMenseger
