while viewing in full screen mode, the screen is flickering constantly. It stopped flickering after clicking the right mouse couple times.

Having a similar problem here. After entering full-screen mode, the viewer starts flickering after a few seconds. It flickers for between a fraction of a second up to a couple seconds, and then works normally for a few seconds before repeating. This only started today, after using it for weeks.

$ eog --version

I have the same problem on Gutsy, making it impossible to watch the slideshow.

What is the original bug number, so we can track it?

I'm running hardy and my screen blinks. It blinks once some times there are hours in between or time just a few minutes.
