istanbul does not save file

Bug Description

Hi,

I started istanbul but when I press "stop recording" button, it saves the file and never stops.

Output:

Hi,

i have the same problem here with two computers (using GUTSY). It works if i don't use the sound. I have pulseaudio installed so i assume that is the reason why i have the problem.

(sadly, i have the same problem with gtk-recordMyDesktop, so it's a bit difficult to make screencast ...)

I've just done a right clik on the icon applet (the red ball) and
unchecked the "record sound" option

Okay.
Confirmed: when sound is enabled, no file; when we disable sound, we have a file.

You're right, this the same problem.

i tried to catch the bug in the python program. It seems that the
program wait for a dbus message that don't arrive. But i can't say why.

Bug confirmed in Ubuntu Gutsy 64bit
Can not save file.
The icon freezes on 'In process of saving to disk'
The Istanbul process under the System Monitor goes to sleep.
No Ogg file gets saved.
But only if you want to record sound.
:-(
