gThumb trashes images on NFS mount

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gthumb

I have my images on an NFS mounted partition. When using gThumb to view the image I then tried to remove some red eyes which worked OK. But when saving the corrected image I get an error message stating "Cannot write to image file". Then the image has been overwritten and the file is zero bytes large... :-(

I am not at home to check for sure, but it is the latest available in Gutsy pool. If so it seems to be 2.10.6-0ubuntu1.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

Hi!
Sorry for not being actively filling in any progress on the matter. I'll
get better in the future... :)
I have currently Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64 installed and after checking I didn't
even had gThumb installed.. :-) I installed the latest gThumb release
(2.10.08) and none of the issues I reported previously accured with this
version. I'd say "Cased closed" to this one. Thank you for reminding
me!

Regards,
/Lars
