Bug Description

Binary package hint: gimp

I created a page in this gimp wiki website for simplifying the task of asking for features
in the next versions, since Gimp development community is still too close for an open-source
project, with a huge lack of developers feedback (maybe because there are too many users,
or being a 10 year old project)

Maybe people here in the Ubuntu Launchpad may see this feature suggestion list, and see
valious points which will make Gimp even more competitive with Photoshop

i fail to see how this is an Ubuntu bug, or even a gimp one, could you please tell me were are you going with this?, just so you know, if you don't already do, all the feature requests and bug reports about gimp can be done via GNOME's Bugzilla.

well...

i must confess i'm having really huge difficulties to login into Gnome's Bugzilla - i tried to create more than 20 logins without success - Gnome really need to fix their development web board engine... at least as good as Launchpad or Phpbb forums

What i'm affraid is GIMP development community seems to be very closed (making fun: maybe harder to get into than the Batman fanclub ;-) ) - and as well, i lost lots of mail accounts with mailing lists, even with the Ubuntu MOTU one! - i'm affraid as well a suggestion i posted only being implemented at year 2017 or 2027...

GIMP project really needs good forums or alike where we can post our suggestions, even code snippets... - in the meanwhile i tried to post at Launchpad - you know, better than nothing...

GIMP uses the gnome bugzilla for tracking their bugs and also they have mailing list, this information should be send to them by those ways rather than here. closing the report.
