Bug Description
when entering a new source, the missing prefix stating the type of packages (e.g. 'deb ') prevents the Application from starting. No Way to fix the problem by gui.
However, very good error message for fixing the problem manually.

Thanks for the report, however here in jaunty it shows a message saying :
"An error occurred
The following details are provided:
E: Malformed line 17 in source list /etc/apt/ sources. list (URI)
E: Unable to lock the list directory"
When you do a change trough the UI, the application starts though and it shows you the line where the error is in order to correct it. Marking this as fixed, thanks.
