[hardy] Please merge alps-light1 1.2.2-2.1 (universe) from Debian unstable (science)

Bug Description

Current: 1.2.2-2ubuntu4
Current Debian unstable: 1.2.2-2.1

Reasoning: We differed from debian only that we had libalps-pvm1c2a in dapper while debian never had this package (or removed it before us.) This package is no longer in the hardy repositories so this conflict/replacement is no longer required in control. The final difference in the previous ubuntu version, against debian, was adding "--with-boost-toolset=mt" to DEB_CONFIGURE_EXTRA_FLAGS in debian/rules. Debian has now included this extra parameter in their version.

See comments. Maintaining c2a conflicts for dapper->hardy support. Working on merge.

Quick check of the hardy repos shows ALL of the c2a variants of libalps are no longer included in the repos, thus negating the usage of any of the c2a conflicts/replacements we were adding to debian/control.

no, because these are in dapper, and we support dapper--> hardy upgrades (LTS), you need to keep these for hardy, so that the users don't get stale binaries from their old dapper installation. However, in hardy+1, you can drop these, and sync the package. (because we don't support dapper --> hardy+1)
