near the end of the upgrade, it crash. Before this happens some other errors appear, all connected to initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic

Since I have an Intel chip, I probably checked something wrong if this
is an amd64 problem. I probably was too careless when I started the
update. Sorry to cause the confusion. Luther

after the crash, the update ended and now everything is very slow

I find that the slowdown on gutsy is not related to this bug or the crash, the reason is Xgl, if you disable it, everything is ok.
