browser hijacker; how do i get rid of it

Binary package hint: firefox

I keep getting infected with a browser hijacker i think. it messes up my format, fonts on igoogle, and not sure what else. how do i rid myself of it?

sorry .... my computer guru is back in school ... and i'm lost without
him.

reloaded the system.

a lot of my problems appear to be Firefox bugs and i'm waiting for the
next version.
