Bug Description

Binary package hint: gthumb

gthumb is now consumming all memory and swap when opening
no error is reported when launching in a terminal
memory leak always happen, i can not at all use this application, even after removing with apt-get remove --purge and reinstall

it does when i open a picture, and when i open the application with no picure selected

it causes complete freeze of the system by using ALL memory and progressively ALL swap space, within 1 or 2 minutes (1Go RAM and 1 Go swap), so that i am unable to stop the application, and unable to switch in a terminal to kill it !
