SOLUTION 2.6.1-1ubuntu10 _amd64. deb" (ld-linux- x86-64. so.2). 2.6.1-1ubuntu9_ amd64.deb" , installing it via dpkg, and then doing a full system upgrade via apt-get upgrade (libc6_ 2.6.1-1ubuntu10 _amd64. deb the only package reinstalled)
I was able to trace down the problem to "libc6_
I was able to correct the problem by downloading "libc6_
Now totem works again
