Is there any fix/advice for this bug yet? Happens to me on nearly every DVD, seemingly at random (if I cancel the copy and restart, I may get the error at a different place in the DVD or perhaps not at all). Help?!

This backtrace appears to be of no use.
This is probably because your packages are built in a way which prevents creation of proper backtraces, or the stack frame was seriously corrupted in the crash.

Version:
Version 2.0.2 on Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid)
Using KDE 4.1.4 (KDE 4.1.4)

Error Details:
A Fatal Error Occurred
The application k9copy (k9play) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).
