Tracker not searching content of rtf files

Binary package hint: tracker
I have an .rtf file and a .pdf version of the same file. The rtf file is older. Tracker only finds the pdf file when searching for a word in the document.
Tracker does find the file when searching for the file name: 'john_smith_cv'
Tracker doesn't find the file when I search for 'cv' - are search expressions limited to more than two letters?
When tracker finds the rtf file by searching for the file title, it does not display any of the content.

I can confirm that Rich Text Format documents are not searched for their content; only their filename is searchable via tracker. An as the RTF, DOC and ODT are really basic editable formatted text documents for years I think that it should be classified rather as "bug" and not merely "wishlist".
