Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

Ubuntu Gutsy
Amarok 1.4.7

When changing the analyser at the bottom of the main Amarok window by clicking on it, Amarok crashes.

Running amarok from a terminal gives the following output when it crashes:

amarokapp: main/renderbuffer.c:2153: _mesa_reference_renderbuffer: Assertion `oldRb->Magic == 0xaabbccdd' failed.

I am running Amarok from within KDE 3.5.8. All packages are ubuntu packages.

I did not have this problem with Ubuntu Feisty.

Thank you for filing the bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Does this problem still exist in amarok 1.4.8-0ubuntu3 available in Ubuntu Hardy?

I'm getting the same failure when launching Mixxx (according to pdf manual Mixxx v1.4) from a terminal on Hardy.
mixxx: main/renderbuffer.c:2153: _mesa_reference_renderbuffer: Assertion `oldRb->Magic == 0xaabbccdd' failed.
If I rm .mixxx.cfg then I get the prompt for the song directory. It crashes immediately after.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Please reopen it if you can reproduce the bug for Ubuntu Hardy 8.04. To reopen the bug report you can click on the current status, under the Status column, and change the Status back to "New". Thanks again!
