Team description vanishes when creating a new team

Bug Description
When I create a new team, I fill in the "Description" textarea field. But after the team is created, the description does not appear, and I have to manually edit the team and add it again.
This has happened to me some time in the past, and again live on Launchpad today. I can successfully reproduce on https:/

No other changes. The rest of the form defaults to:
Visibility: Public
Membership policy: restricted team
Subscription period: <blank>
When someone's membership is about to expire, notify them and: invite them to apply for renewal
Self renewal period: <blank>
Upon clicking "Create Team", the new team page appears, but the description is blank.

I've run into this as well, using both the list of form values givrn by Robie in the Bug Description, and one w/ Visibility switched to Private.
