When attempting to print anything (eg simple rectangle)
using print...
inkscape crashes with:

Segmentation fault
----ERROR MESSAGE----

This occurs on two installations:

install 1:
Slackware 10 with printer HP 4600 color laser
install 2:
Slackware 10 with printer Epson Stylus Photo 870

Using print direct works with HP 4600 color laser
Using print direct doesn't work with Epson Stylus Photo
870 (I get a grey block printed instead of printout)

I have the same problem, and its not Slack specific, b/c I'm
running a gentoo box.

--gnome-print is not currently supported. (Hence, it's not
a default in "configure".) I'm moving this to the RFE
queue. :)

I have two problems here:

- Text is not printed (tried Type1 and TrueType fonts)
- the page size is not correct, i.e. objects are too large
and if I print one page, two pages are output (one empty page)
