computer freezes after a few minutes running a screensaver

Bug Description

When my computer runs the matrix screensaver for a couple minutes, it locks up
completely and the computer must be reset. i have not tried this with other
screensavers, so i do not know if it is specific to this screensaver or not.

Please attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old and /etc/X11/xorg.conf from when you've
rebooted immediately after a crash (i.e. /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old will be from
the crashed server).
