RenewItem Message Crashes Due to Malformed Method Call

Bug Description

Every time the RenewItem message is called the renewitem method crashes immediately on performing the renewal because $ses->simplereq() has a ->gather(1) tacked on the end of 2 calls. One is inside an unless so it the process doesn't die until just after the renew.override call.
