Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
I need to run a certain version of wine, to get Microsoft Office 2003 to work under wine. However, update-manager keeps informing me about the newer version of wine available and mark it for update. So every time I update, I have to deselect the wine package, risking to forget it someday. This problem could apply to other users and packages as well.
The solution could be to "remember" if a user unmarks a package for upgrade. You may want to disable this option for security updates?
This is my first post here. So please tell me if it does not qualify as a bug!

Let me add: I've enabled automatic downloading of packages, so it simply prompts me wether I want to install these packages.
