Bug Description

Running time bzr.dev get http+urllib://bzr.arbash-meinel.com/branches/bzr/0.93-dev/fetch_check_parents_165290 showed no ui activity for about 18 minutes (when I C-\ed it, looked around and had the network layer die because of bug 173007).

It seems possible to me that this is another instance of https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bzr/+bug/165061.

Yes it's related to bug #165061 but also to bug #172701.

Thanks for reporting it that will allow me to provides separate patches to address the different problems involved.
