Bug Description

I cannot install the codecs that are required to play a file automatically through Totem on Ubuntu 8.04, everytime it tries to open the window which allows you to select and install the codecs it crashes gnome-app-install.

I can install the codecs through Synaptic with no problems and Totem immediately recognises and plays the file properly.
