KDE does not respond to PrintScreen key

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-bin

KDE seems to no longer respond to my PrintScreen key. I have the key assigned via
  System Settings -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> Global Shortcuts -> Desktop Screenshot
The "Window Screenshot" shortcut does not work either. One easy workaround is to remove this key assignment and assign PrintScreen to start ksnapshot under "Command Shortcuts".

Could not confirm. Screenshots are taken to clipboard and they can be pasted, for example, to new gimp image. Works for window screenshots too.

With a little more testing I have found that the print key will bind to the
screenshot actions _only if it is accompanied by ctrl or alt_. The print key
alone, however, does not work, yet is sufficient to start ksnapshot.

I can no longer reproduce this bug after upgrading to hardy.
