Bug Description

Binary package hint: f-spot

There seem to be a lot of similar bugs reported here - my bug is probably a mixture of several....

I use f-spot 0.3.5 on feisty.
I imported fotos (jpg) from my digital camera. That worked. but f-spot refused to display them in the catalogue.
f-spot is active (the mouse pointer changes to a watch/clock...) for a long time without displaying the fotos. It crashes.
F-spot cannot be shut down, instead - after the shutdown is enforced - it is not possible to restart the program.
And it even crashes my whole system (I can't shut down feisty)

many thanks in advance.

Sorry, this instruction (bachtrace) doesn't work, because
/usr/bin/f-spot is a bash-file.
