Bug Description

If you follow the recommendations of powertop and do,

sudo hal-disable-polling --device /dev/scd0 'hal'

You wont be able to burn CDs, Nautilus says that there's a problem with the mounting options, and programs like brasero just don't detect the blank CD.

If you want to rollback, you should do,

sudo hal-disable-polling --enable-polling --device /dev/scd0

I dont know if this actually a bug or a feature :P

Thanks for your report, that's a recomendation for saving power from powertop, that's not a bug or a feature.

Yes but the same way i can mount normal CDs i should be able to mount Blank CDs for burning while hal-disable-polling is set.
