[Gutsy] Since upgrading the Epiphany web browser renders letters blurred every other day

Bug Description

Since distant-upgrading from Feisty to Gutsy Epiphany renders letters blurry every other day (after rebooting) in a regular pattern, for example crisp on even days and blurred on odd days. "uname -a: Linux MD97600 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux". Epiphany revision 'Webbrowser 2.20.1".
This bug may be related to #66079 and #63403.

Thanks for your report, does dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig fix the issue? May you try to get an Epiphany screenshot showing the issue? Does it works fine with another user? Do you have enabled the visual effects? does it happens without them? thanks.
